About Malka
Recovery is possible.
I'm here to help you get there.
Malka Dubin — LCPC · Maryland
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, as well as OCD, anxiety and mood disorders. I work with children ages 10 and older, adolescents, and adults, providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's unique needs and recovery goals.
I earned my Master's degree in Counseling from the Johns Hopkins School of Education and have extensive experience treating an array of conditions including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and ARFID. My clinical background includes residential treatment and partial hospitalization programs (PHP).
My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including FBT (Family Based Treatment) and CBT-E (Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for eating disorders, as well as ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), the gold standard for OCD treatment. I also integrate CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and CPT. (Cognitive Processing Therapy).
I believe recovery is possible and strive to create a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients and families can build resilience, develop coping skills, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself or a loved one, I am committed to helping you navigate challenges and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
